G.4.4 – Impact Damage in Glass

This article has been prepared by one of our façade engineers, following a non-intrusive investigation of a cracked outer glass pane of curtain wall Insulated Glazing Unit (IGU) at ground floor, East corner,  comment on the probable causes of failure, to make a comment on the potential safety risks and to provide comments on what measures might be taken to perform the required remedial works.
